Metro Dog Daycare and Kennels now hiring dog handlers!

Would you like to be adored deeply and unabashedly by 50+ dogs of all kinds every day? Are your best friends a mop and a Border collie mix? Do you have a sincere love of extensive cleaning? Can you lift 45 lbs, stand and move continually for 8 hours at a time, deal with big personality dogs, and multi-task in an office? Our unofficial motto is “if your dog makes it, we clean it,” including, but not limited to, hair, poop (in various physical states), vomit, urine, and of course our good friend, drool.
If this sounds like a good time on a Friday night, a brilliant first date, or the best Christmas ever, MetroDog Daycare and Kennels might be the job for you. We are regularly looking for dedicated individuals with a sincere love of dogs to lead our pack and make sure all of our pups go home healthy, happy, and tired.
We offer a flexible schedule but applicants must be available to work holidays. Shifts are generally 6-8 hours long with 2 shifts daily - AM (start around 7AM) and PM (ends around 7PM).
The current starting wage is $8.50/hr, with a performance based raise after 90 days. A clean driving record is a definite plus, and we are open everyday of the year, so availability for holidays and weekends is a must (our dogs are here everyday, which means we are here everyday).
